Harnessing a broad cross-section of 'rock' styles, the band defies classification or alignment to any genre or sub genre. This is due in part to a multitude of influences ranging from Rock, Metal, Jazz, Pop to Classical and Opera.

The Cursing Stone use this eclectic musical palette to illustrate the deep motifs found in the lyrics, and is not afraid to explore different avenues, composing songs with soaring cinematic textures or dry punk-style aggression.
